your favorite teasers, leader lengths, flashers, how you brine, ect for springs. Any other thing I should know? I've cut plug and run hootchies most of my life but never really mastered anchovy's. thanks

Nootka...... ahhhhhh..such great memories...... We didn't do as well as we would have liked but did well enough to go back later this summer. Saw Paul at Critter Cove and was to meet to go out to Bajo at 5am but didn't hear from him. Got caught out at Bajo with 10-12' seas at noon and had an exhilerating ride back in ;-) Seemed like everyone was not doing as well as they usually do out in Nootka, and well, that's the luck of the draw, you can hit them and you can miss them. done that many times in Barkley. Other than shorts and no shirt and shoes off at 8:30pm at San Carlos because it was so hot....;-) we had a fantastic time and can't wait to get back. BTW - Critter Cove is absolutely top notch, couldn't ask for more. as for the zoo at the launch in Gold River...........;-(

Biggest thing about anchovies these day are finding them

If you can spin a cut plug Im sure you can spin a chov. Did your first c-plug spin perfect?
If you play around youll find what works for you as I am sure most the guys on the board do things a little differently.
6-10 ft depending on fishing. Some heads work me for and not other and vise-versa.
Flasher/no flasher both work at their times.
Give one a try with a go to on the other side and play from there

Ya Paul probably got into the sauce the night before knowing him and his crew. I'm on my way up on sunday, first time to Nootka we usually fish Zabellos so hopefully things will fall in place.
