That's a beauty. Congrats to the young fella.

We took this past weekend off. Are the coho thick yet on the inner banks IronNoggin? Hoping to get into some big coho this coming weekend. They sure are a blast to catch with bucktails and spoons right in the prop wash :) .

Sculpin...the coho are thick at the inner banks off Bamfield...I'd assume the same for off Ukee.
Hitting the gear on the way down all morning yesterday.

Thanks for the report Degree of Freedom :) . I know alot of folks complain about the coho but I really enjoy playing them right on the surface especially the big 18 + lber's like we saw last year  . We released a couple wilds last year that were pushing 22 lbs.

Can't wait till the weekend!!!

Where is the best launch out of Ucluelet? Anybody got a rec?
Normally I motor out from Port but I'm thinking I may save on gas by launching at Ucluelet. Suggestions?
Thanks

yep...great fun. Had my boss and a couple of his buddies from Alberta out...they had a blast!
Only complaint you'll ever hear from me on the subject is the wild/hatch regulation. I'm a true believer that it does far more harm than good. Released a 15 lb bleeder yesterday :(
