Hi all. I'm new to Nanaimo and have been fresh water fishing in northern Manitoba all my life. Great fishing! I moved to southern Alberta for 5 years and missed fishing so I moved to Nanaimo in late September. Bought a boat again, bought some crab nets and want to do some saltwater fishing as soon as the weather approves. Me and my brother, wife and kids have been catching crab off the dock right in downtown Nanaimo. We wanted to see what the hell was going on down there so we strapped a HD video camera to the crab trap.
