We tried Constance yesterday, dead ,dead
no bait showing, not a scrap.
we were the only boat out there on a flat calm day, kinda sums it all up

they are there, hitting hard around slack tides and then going quiet and concentrated in a very small area. I've found them to be VERY specific to squirt and flasher color. Had 3 springs and 2 soxs today in the morning shift. I checked out west of race in the afternoon for soxs but not a sniff.

3 more ~12lb cookie cutters today, most are mature and most are males, so maybe some larger females will be following them.

bigger fish would nice but they are consistent.

a few sox off the bank yesterday but LOTS of soxs plus 2 low 20's springs out off west race today.

There is actually a really high number of springs being caught on the sockeye gear if you go deep right now. (90' + )

Fishing is great lately and with the amount of sockeye out there, guests are walking away with hundreds of dollars in meat.

If you want to get your limit of sockeye and get some awesome fish for the winter then now is the time to get out.

ya it was rough out front but I was over by west race/church rock - once the ebb switched over to the flood it was really nice out there.

Well done ! glad to see someone is catching fish

kinda slow today, spent 3.5 hours out by church without a single bite, we came back and spent an hour on the bank and got a high teener.

I was in outfitters after work and saw a guy weighing in a 36lb'er he said he got at secretary, along with 3 others in the 30's that week - so the story goes....

Out again tomorrow with a very very rich man from Dubai - here's hoping we find the fish!!
