yup you're usual spot fished really well DS for one boat I know of, go get em!

some more hatch jobs on the flats this afternoon. Its getting boring but purple haze squirts on the bottom seems to always work if they are around.

Are they getting any bigger Kevin ? last few we caught were only 5-6 lbs

about ten pounds yesterday DS but today on the bank some mid teens were around. I had 3 fish but only one about 15-16lbs to the boat, purple onion flasher with a electric chair squirt for all three hits and trolling really fast!

I only had about an hour before I had to go back in but seemed like a good bite going on, most boats got at least a few it seemed.

Out this morning for 4 hours 7-11, hit 2 feeders, 25lb halibut and released about a 10lb sockeye.

Fish seemed a little deeper today around 100-120 and same old purple onion flasher and uv squirts.

I know of a few other mid teen springs caught this morning as well, they are there its just a matter of waiting for the bite to come on.

I haven't heard anything good from close in for mature fish though

heard of some mature fish in close this morning - I'm out to take a look this afternoon.

i was looking at some of the catch pictures on another web site i won't mention any names ,but i did notice something.these fish were supposedly caught off secretary and you could see in the pic that they were wild and way over the slot size,the date was pre july 15.It was by a posted by a charter service also,again no names.i have noticed this before from others as well.If you caught it illegal and didn't put it back,don't post the fact,at least do what everyone else does and say you caught it west of the line.I record my fish on my hanheld G.P.S which takes digital pics and logs when and where as well as a fishpic.This will prove i caught mine legal or at least was in a legal area some time that day the fish was caught.I know it sucks to throw them back and i often wonder if people ever throw back trophy size springs.Unless someone sees you land it how does anyone know where you were.Ss out........
