Cheers All,
While I would not wish to be a police officer and I highly value the work that the vast majority of all officers do in the line of service, this IS excessive in the extreme! He should face charges - including loss of his job. I don't think that he is doing his community any service in the fashion he conducted himself.

Ya they obviously werent gonna take any shi* from the drunks being outnumbered but definatly excessive force. Other than resisting a bit none seemed overly violent. One of my fishing buddies is the ex vancouver chief of police and current victoria city police chief. I bet hes not happy trying to deal with this

That one cop in particular is right out of control-a real cowardly goon-I intend to post this in as many places as I can find.

That type of behavior doesn't do any of us any good. All it does is alienate the Police force from the community. Is that good? Dan

If the guy gets a slipped disc from being knee'd to the back, does he get compensated when he misses work? When someone complies to the cops and sits down and obeys orders, do they deserve to be pushed, kicked and intimidated. Iam surprised the taser didnt come out just for the sake of it. RCMP have hired a bunch of gym rats, I have cousins in the force who are just a bunch of dirty f_$ks. Nice to have the footage of that on display.
