Hi, from Comox. Spent Sat at Mudge and then down to Shelter Point. released about 6 jacks and had one on that sounded about 100 yards, you know the ones that just keep going straight down.....just held me at that depth started to turn him and then my leader snapped! Was at 120ft, green speckleback hoochie with mylar twinkleskirt. Tons of boats, didn't see much landed, we had pretty good action most of the morningalthough nothing boated.

Thanks guys and I'll try to share when I can. I dont spend as much time on the ocean as I used to. However, I do know quit a few fisherman and we BS(chat) often and will share what I hear along with when i go out. ;)

I fish the the local river here "The Campbell" also and is good when the hatchery fish are in. The pinks should be showing up in the next couple of weeks or so.

Theres nothing much here right now, the rivers pretty high as of last night. I am sure the John hart dam will slow the flow down soon, if they allready havent .which should bring the pinks upstream. I hear it will be much like last year with record amounts of pinks showing up here. There fun to catch with the kids. 8-)

Theres just the odd trout being caught now in the river.

Theres some pinks showing up at Eve River right now which is about a 2 hours drive northeast of us, is what I've heard lately.

Cheers
