Hi guys, just trying to figure out who wants to fish the Ucluelet Salmon Derby this year? Last year we did a top prize of $10,000 and had about 400 people enter. It was pretty good odds for getting the biggest fish. This year I am thinking of doing a $5000 prize unless I get some more interest. I think quite a few people from the east fear the rougher water, but as you can see on the video, we get some pretty nice weather in Ucluelet during August generally. Looking to hear feedback!

Sam runs a great derby and if I can arrange a charter for the derby I will be there. Always a GREAT time...lots of fish...and the weather isn't too bad.
