looks like he's just looking for a fishing partner...don't think there's a crime there unless he's charging more than just gas money (kinda like an add from a single white female looking for a companion...doesn't make her a hooker unless she asks for money).

Nothing wrong with that. I charge the people on boat gas money all the time, I have to... takes $320 to fill the tank. :lol:

According to the law, even if he is only charging gas money, he is a charter guide and has no insurance if he has an accident. I will let you know the inside scoop.

So...what you are saying is if you recieve gas money you are breaking some-kind of law?All my buddies pitch in for fuel,bait or a nice cold one after the trip.If this were the case I would have paid a half million dollars in finds by now :lol:

Two things to beware of here

1-an amateur trying to set up a half-assed guiding service-someone who has NFC what he's doing.

1-established businesses howling like crazy/spreading false rumours about anyone anywhere they think is undercutting their prices.

Remember ECVI is thin pickings most of the time and the less there is to fight over the more vicious the fight. :roll:

And accepting gas money is not guiding-never has been never will be just because a person accepts gas money doesn't mean they're liable.

OK... So I'm confused... If me and my buddies go fishing... and the fuel costs $200 for the weekend... and I tell them that they should give me $80 each plus bait... I'm acting like a guide? WTF?
