The last few weeks has been some of the best fishing I have seen here in my 10 years of guiding. The Chinook are thick right from the beach all the way out to the 50 fathom. Yesterday we landed 22 springs from the low twenty's to the mid thirty's and the day before was just under twenty fish, this has been going on since July 10th and the fish should keep getting bigger. Anchovie, herring, spoons and hochies are all working at times. Halibut fishing is still great. Jamie Rothenburger, the guide who runs my other boat released a fish that we measured at just over 80 inches, aproximately 280-300lbs, a few days ago.
